Purpose-built homes in dramatic settings — mountain ridgelines, secluded valleys, and desert oasis compounds. On-grid or completely off-grid. Designed for the landscape, not imposed on it.
Built for the Land
A mountain retreat should feel like it grew out of the mountainside. A desert compound should embrace the heat, the light, and the silence. We design and build homes that are inseparable from their environment — using local materials, responding to the terrain, and working with the climate instead of fighting it.
Every retreat is fully self-sufficient if needed — solar power, well water, septic systems, and battery storage. Or connected to utilities where available. The point is independence by choice, not by limitation.

Retreat Types
Alpine lodges, ridgeline homes, and forested mountain compounds. Heavy timber, stone, and glass designed for snow loads, wind, and panoramic views. Colorado, Vermont, West Virginia.
Sprawling valley properties with creek access, pasture, and agricultural potential. Multi-structure compounds with main residence, guest quarters, workshops, and outbuildings.
High-desert retreats built around natural water features and dramatic geology. Rammed earth, adobe, steel, and glass. Designed for extreme sun, minimal rainfall, and complete off-grid operation.
On or Off Grid
Every retreat we build can operate entirely off-grid. Our sister division TEMBN Energy designs and installs the solar arrays, wind turbines, and battery systems that make it possible. Combined with well water and engineered septic, your retreat answers to no utility company.

Craftsmanship
Every surface tells a story. Dark charred timber floors against precision-cut stone walls excavated directly from the hillside. These aren't finishes applied to a structure — they are the structure. The materials do the work, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself.
